Concrete Poured

The last week or so of September Mike worked on getting the foundation form walls up, leveled, braced and squared up. He had a great idea to cover the footings with OSB so the cement wouldn't all come out during the pour and and we could pour the footings and walls at the same time.

On Friday, September 27, Jimmys day off we poured cement at 9am.
Mike, Jimmy and I were the only ones working on the foundation cement pour and I was a little (a lot) scared that it would be a nightmare (from past cement experiences), but Mike assured me we could do it.
He was right...it was the easiest pour we've ever had. We did have a  form blow out on the first wall...but that got corrected and things went great!

Mike pulled the forms off on Monday...while everything didn't turn out perfect...it was pretty good. We are happy with it.
